Hi all, today I didn't really want to take my camera out and was feeling lazy, but so glad I did because I found a rainbow!
Has anyone else taken any photos in their project where it was just a case of being luckily in the right place at the right time? I'd love to see them.
This was taken in mid-November. The day before had been nothing but snow and gray dreariness. That morning it was still depressing. I got to the end of the street and saw this. It didn't last very long.
Stopped the car grabbing the camera - lay down on the ground in front of Mr Hedgehog - and snapped. Got up and found my passenger was nearly wetting herself laughing and had taken a photo of me on the ground.
I saw your post and immediately thought of this shot! I was driving and saw the unicycle on top of the rock and knew I had to pull over. I even sent this into the newspaper and it made the front paper. I've never seen anyone on top of this giant rock except this guy and I've lived here over 20 years!
I was on vacation in SanFran when a protest went by. I didn't realize until I looked at the shots on my computer that one of the participants was naked!

Just walked out of the shower and saw this scene out of the window, draped a towel strategically, grabbed my camera, rushed out on to the balcony and clicked furiously.
