April is almost here and most of us are dealing with various forms of restrictions on our activities and excursions into the outside world... so here's something to help get the creative juices flowing... pick a subject, any subject, so long as it is something you will have access to every day during the month of April... and every day, think of a new and different way to take a picture of that subject...
there's no rules here... you can try different photography techniques, different perspectives, different cameras, camera settings and lenses, different processing styles.... the world's your oyster!
this is an exercise in creativity and stick-to-it-iveness...
play along for a couple of days, a week, or the complete month...
@taffy Surprisingly no, though I did think of doing a month of more Finn, but I am going with the rather broad reaching subject of the kitchen, and narrowing each week to a certain subject, raw food, utensils, pots and pans, cutlery, plates, baking, veg etc etc, plenty to pick from. Not very original, but most of all I am looking forward to starting a project that encourages me to pick up my camera and not lean on my phone!
Thanks for taking this on - with organising home preschool work and being there for those who turn up my brain is a bit frazzled haha - I will definitely join in - hmm now to think of the subject
Great, that you’re going to host this challenge! I’m thinking and thinking and thinking of a suitable subject. Last year I did a whole month about our black dinner table chairs. Pfew ;) Now I’m contemplating about my closet or the vacuum cleaner. Mmmmm...
I'm going to go a little wide with "techniques", and I'll get to play with photos I've already taken and review techniques I've learned in the past and since forgotten the details. This will be a fun month! Thank you for organizing.
I've picked a room and the sub theme of the alphabet- although I'm not sure I'll stick to that. First time in a long time I'll be doing something like this! Thanks for starting it up.
@jyokota Brilliant idea, and you could do wide angle up to macros with the range of objects in there. You could even break it into weekly themes since you've got architecture, books, 'toys' (or even further you could break those into puppets, stuffies, figurines, etc.). I think you would have a good month or more to keep you going, and it also could end up as a coffee table book or Flickr album at least or something that would archive that amazing space.
Thanks for the challenge. I'm happy to participate, but will expand the topic a little for me. I want to make my life easier and not more complicated. I choose the object cellulose (paper - cardboard) in the broadest sense. So for me, the subject could range from toilet paper (yes, we still have some), over folded brochures to an easter molded pulp egg carton. However, I will try to implement this with different techniques, lenses and cameras, so that it asks for creativity and remains a challenge for me.
This a something at first I thought might be difficult, but as I look around I see it can be lots of fun. Found my item! Will be posting it this morning!
Thanks northy! I have never done this challenge as it happens during National Poetry Month, but I think I can manage this year. As we are quarantined for another month, I think I will focus on my kitchen counter.
@northy, Please put me on the list. I will try to do this because I need to come back to my photo routine, and practice more. I am not quite sure yet what to pick as an object...
@ukandie1 Finn?

Please add me to the list, if not too late?
