I had so much fun looking at the last discussion I made about color, that I decided to make another. I'm trying not to take ALL pictures of my daughter, but I find it difficult not to, or at least something to do with her. So, I want to see everybody's pictures of children [yours or not]. Children make me very happy with their beauty and innocence. I'd like to see how others capture our future. Here are a few of mine to start.
I never get tired of kid shots - but I also try to take other subjects too!
Here's a few of my fave kiddo ones:
And I shouldn't laugh at this - but everyone was fine. ;)
I wanted to say, that I don't have a single shot of a kid, But then I remebered, that a long time ago, a made a shot of my aunt and my cousin,
But I would like to tell you something, rather that showing you my picture. I'm telling you, it's so difficult to go trough this project without these "uber-cute-shots". Just like we (everyone, that doesnt have a children, or a little siblling) have to find your attention somewhere else. And trust me, I would love to have a kid at home, just to do all of my photo ideas ;)
i never ever get tired of taking pix of my kids thats why my project is mostly of them. too many to pick so just browse thru mine :) http://365project.org/josamz
love these photos of everyone's uploads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have some photos of my little sister. However, for her privacy, I've only uploaded ones that don't have her face.
There's also a few more in my project.
Hope
Isabel
Need think I’m going to take some shots of my older two tonight lets hope I get some good ones
@pwallis what I do is open word or notepad go through albums and copy links putting them in there then after I have all links I want I copy and paste in the thread (I hope this helps)
@araminta I love the one with the watering can! @halkia Those are all beautiful! @jo365 Such handsome boys. That's a great family shot. My family shot would be me and my daughter, haha. @angievega I love the one on the beach. I haven't taken my daughter yet, but I'm sure I'll take five million pictures once we actually go. @schoolnsuch I don't know what your "before" shots looked like, but I think they look fantastic now :) @pwallis I'm a sucker for naked butt photos. I have a ton of blackmail for my daughter, haha. @cfitzgerald He looks so happy about that cake! I love it! @jenniferbovan Your kids are so adorable! I love Hannah's little face, and that shot of Aiden in the mirrors is great! @meggageg A future photographer! I have a couple of my daughter taking photos too. She watches me take all mine :) @ididntdoit87 Thanks, Hilary! It helps me find people that have similar interests as me. Plus, I get to see some amazing photos. @peggysirk Is that a picture with Grandpa? Whoever it is, you can see he truly loves her. So precious. @annaruth I love the bed head shots!
I love these! It makes me happy to see how much everybody loves the children in their lives.
I didn't post this one originally because I didn't take it, but I really like it a lot. I handed my one-year-old daughter the camera. She turned it around to face herself, and took this shot. Since it's just me and her, she's seen me do it a million times to get family pictures. I was so proud!
@halkia I'm a new follower. your shots are all so gorgeous! I'm so jealous! Also, I think your youngest and my daughter are about the same age. April 2009 for me.
@triciaanddazzle October 2009 here! She can't use the swing yet like your daughter because she doesn't know how to hold on yet :)
Thanks so much for your kind words!
@geertje I feel like it takes a whole different style to photograph children. I have a hard time taking pictures of adults now. They all look boring to me. In fact, I don't have any pictures of adults yet. I need to try to get out of my little box and take some photos of people and place. I tend to stick to micro shots and my daughter.
Also, that second picture is absolutely amazing. It makes my heart happy.
@halkia I got her the swing set for her 2nd birthday. That was taken the next day, and it was the first time she sat in one like that. Her little swing is on the set next to it, but she ignores it now. I thought she would be too small, but she proved me wrong. Same with her slide. She climbs the ladder with the giant steps, and slides all on her own. I swear she was just my little baby, and now she's this little person. It's bittersweet.
I've been taking a lot of photos of my friend's little boy. I work with children and would love to do more child photos, but alas, I can not photograph the little ones at work. :) This small child is the perfect muse though!
My project is all about my sweetie! I wanted to document her first year of life by taking a picture a day so that's how I got started with 365. Here are a few of my favorites so far! :)
I love this one because it is such a reminder about how fast my baby is growing and how quickly those everyday memories fade if you don't record them.
I love this one because those little eyes of my 4th son always pull me in with every little story he tells me.
I love this one because it truly represents my 3rd son's personality...always exploring and making up grand little adventures (often with one of our cats as his sidekick)
I love this one because it reminds me with what passion my second child looks at life with...he feels so many things all the way to the depth of his heart.
@melissachi Great shots! @eliserose781 I love that last one. So adorable. @positronicmommy Those are all great, but I especially love the one where he's flexing his muscles :) @320days It will go by fast, believe me, I can't believe my daughter just turned two on the first. Your shots are beautiful.
Iam trying soooo hard to not make my 365 about my children! Although the feature a bit and Iam taking heaps of photos of them everyday Iam really trying to keep those photos just for me ;-) Mainly because I am selfish ;-)!!
Here are a couple of photos of them though because I have to show them off:
Brotherly love:
could not agree more.... here's our hope: Baby Jewel.... born OAct 5th 2010 a few days old and already showing personality...pondering over her 3rd month in this world...
@rudit It's not on here, but I have a picture of my daughter at about two weeks old lifting one eyebrow at me, haha. They have personalities right from the beginning :)
What a great thread. There are so many cute pictures on here. I have loads as my children are my favourite subject!!, so here are a few...
Okay, I'll stop there!!
I've got a ton of my kids but I'll just share two... here is Peanut who will be graduating high school in just over a month's time...
and this is Hobbit who will be graduating Kindergarten not long after...
Those are my monsters... if want to see more, just wander through my project... they're peppered through out... both willingly and unwillingly modeling... lol.
These are all so wonderful. I'd like to respond to everyone individually, but it would take FOREVER! I think all these shots are beautiful simply because you can see the love everyone has for their children
Children are definately one of my favourite things to photograph, they are just so free in everything they do, and thier emotions are always so raw..although I guess I'm still considered a child, so any pictures of my friends could be considered pictures of children, but here are some of kids younger than me.
However most of my shots are of them! Some of my favs
My youngest daughter:
My eldest daughter:
Both girls:
Here is my youngest Riley showing off his new raincoat and not looking happy about having to pick big brother up from school. lol.
