Apologies for another green shot and the same location as yesterday. It's been a lovely morning and pleasant afternoon but during the lunch hour I arranged to meet @jannaellen for a photo shoot at Midsummer Fair and as I was heading for our rendez vous point on Jesus Green we received the entire spring's rain in about an hour. I was so wet my trousers were falling down under the weight of water!! And Monty is still damp bless him. I couldn't take many shots as my camera was getting soaked even under a tree. There were very few people on the move - the fuzziness is rain on the lens. I'm off out again tonight so apologies if I'm behind commenting.
Oh poor you - I guess my shelter was a bit more stable. I was debating with myself if I should just fight on through the rain so that the drenching would have at least had the advantage of seeing you but it just kept pouring so much I didn't dare riding my bike. So sorry our meetup didn't work :(. Hope you're dry again now! Your picture really captures the atmosphere of the downpour, the blurriness just adds to it!
nice shot - love the composition of this. Fuzziness sums up the rain - we got caught out in a big field as we were about to start our sheepherding exercise! and what was worse the sheep didn't want to get wet and were trying to hide!
It seems your timing was unlucky! Too bad your 365 meet fell into the water (that's a Dutch saying for something that gets cancelled due to circumstances - we get a lot of rain too...). Your shot is great though, you've really captured the rainy conditions which is quite hard to do.
composition works well here.
does monty still smell of 'wet dog' :) .......poor monty :)
