Well the dynamite candles were a bit of a damp squib!! A tiny bit of fizzing and only one re-lit! Oh well - they were all keen for me to turn the camera off and start cutting the cake!
@happypat Yes - I had strict instructions - my daughter likes to make sure I make a cake! In fact when they were little I used to make a home one and a nursery one but for Adam's 1st I thought he wouldn't notice if the home one was a bought thing. Rachel was quite put out and kept saying, 'Madam needs cake!' We obviously had two 'Madams in the house! I ordered one for her sixteenth - posh and expensive but she keeps mentioning how I didn't make her a cake and clearly thinks it was neglect....
@judithg I agree with Rachel , there is nothing like home baking !! Not that I do much now the kids have left home !! Funny'' little madam ''she sounds !!!
