I've been all agog at the lovely response to yesterday's photo - thank you so much! Today saw yet another screech to a halt along Queen's Road. I've been waiting for the cows on the meadows at King's to be in the right place since they reappeared in the spring. Today they obliged and the sun made a very brief appearance so I abandoned poor Monty in the car, dodged a traffic warden and took a few shots. I think there are rules that if you do well enough in your exams you're allowed to graze a cow on the meadow but I don't know when a student last insisted on doing it. They have been known to usher them through the college on more than one occasion though. This year's cows have been especially pretty and there's a very cute calf who may appear at some point. There's a cow close up in my Extras folder. http://365project.org/judithg/extras/2011-11-29
@fueast Yeah - another few weeks and that meadow will look like the lawn across the river! Drat - I 've just realised I was supposed to use the version with the punter was more obvious...
Wonderful pastoral scene Judith & they are some cows !!! Must be a rare breed type with horns like that , which of course is entirely in keeping !! Lovely contrast with the fabulous church & college !
