Sometimes I think that I know very little about my children! We discovered on holiday that Rachel was desperate to ride a camel and during a drive through the Palmerie Gardens her dream was fulfilled courtesy of Fatima a good natured dromedary. I took quite a lot of camel shots but I was trumped by this one of Adam's - we just couldn't resist her smiley face. A big cheat I know but trust me she's much more entertaining than any of the rather dreary shots I took today. Huge thanks for the lovely comments and favs on my alleyway shot - I promise I'll start catching up and commenting ASAP.
Right so back to your cheat pic. Which is great btw - but really if you were going to post one of Adam's pics could you not have chosen one with you on the camel? Ah go on....!
@ellida Actually that's why I didn't manage a front on pic - I was encumbered by the prospect of spitting whereas Adam was in blissful ignorance of the possibility!
Great shot - the camels we rode in India were dribbly and stinky! My Mum has never wanted to ride a camel and after having been forced to ride one never wanted to do it again! Glad Rachel enjoyed it though!
@hamble Lucky you - the light was great (though a bit strong - I didn't handle the shadows terribly well). It is a bit mad in terms of hustle and bustle but really fascinating.
What a happy looking camel! There's a place here that has a few camels one can ride on but I've never done it - they look a little cheeky, and I'm not sure if I trust them! :)
