......everybody smiles at you. A break from the relentless bad weather of April and it is amazing how a bit of sunshine can lift a mood. I took some photos of the enormous puddles on Jesus Green but I ended up processing them to death so I've gone for this one on the other side of the park. These trees are the Bird Cherries that were infested with moth caterpillars last year - the new green is really vibrant and I'm looking forward to their amazing tubes of blossom. http://365project.org/judithg/365/2011-05-20 PS I've realised that the trees are way behind last year - I imagine that they are REALLY grateful for the rain!
Ha! Every UK person here is remarking on the one day break in the weather.....apparently the wettest april since records began! That's what a hosepipe ban does for you! You have captured Spring in England perfectly here. Fave for me.
Those trees have recovered beautifully & look so soft & fluffy with their new plumage ! A remarkable amount of interest you have in this picture from buildings, street & all those people sitting & walking !
this is a fabulous shot - need some more blue in the sky to make those greens spring alive - it was a nice break from the monotomy of the rain!! love the softness of this
