Nipped off to Waresley wood with my friend Linda this afternoon. She was very patient while I took lots of photos and held the dog who was also uncharacteristically patient. I was like a lovely fragrant fairy glade - just missing a passing unicorn...
Three good things:
1. Bluebells
2. NIce rough towels dried on the line.
3. New armchairs in the kitchen.
PS Best viewed large if you can...
Love your stripes of light & dark across the wood......bluebells are always magical & the pale young foliage is a perfect foil.
New armchairs....I like the sound of armchairs in the kitchen!!!
Oh, well caught Judith. I have been taking photos for days to try and show the carpet of bluebells but the wood where I work just has too many trees in it to get the full effect. I've had to resort to laying on the ground! This is lovely.
This is gorgeous. It is also a shot/sight I wanted on my recent UK trip - with the weather being unseasonably cold it didn't happen. I grew up with my dad telling me about bluebell woods and it was something I longed to see.
Niiiiiice. We are way behind up here, bluebells in bud but not showing much blue yet. This is an awesome shot. I think bluebell woods are really difficult to shoot. I used to live in one, but that was pre 365 when I didn't know anything!
beautiful - bluebell woods are my favourite - I noticed they were coming out at Hardwick wood the other day too but was on a speedwalk during a football match!
What a wonderful sight, something you don't get to see in the city. I have long since given up walking with friends, or rather they with me, as I keep stopping every 5 mins!!
