At the mill

I took Monty over to Anglesey Abbey today as there's a nice off-lead walk on the other side of the lode. I took a few photos that I liked in a rare turn of events for recent times! The lode is a cross between a canal and a river and was running fast today after yesterday's quite apocalyptic rain 'showers' but still has a very smooth surface. Even here approaching the mill race, where water not turning the wheel is diverted to a channel on the left, there's only a fairly subtle disturbance of the surface.
Three good things:
1. Lovely ducklings
2. Some nice doggy encounters
3. Rachel can still just about move after yesterday
