Another shot from my walk with Monty yesterday. A little path which passes alongside some allotments, an incongruous but obviously much-loved village tennis court and then on to join up with the National Trust car park. Left alone to be very pretty.
I'm coming down with a cold so I've been trawling the late-night supermarkets looking for cold-prevention sprays. I tested it on myself and felt pretty much worse for 15 minutes (apparently that means it's working) but feel back to where I was before now. Normally I wouldn't bother but hopefully I can avoid giving my cold to Adam (I have a bottle of the magic stuff for him as well but I can tell you now that there will be an awful lot of moaning - and quite possibly a nose-bleed).
Three good things:
1. Lots of work ticked off.
2. Some dramatic skies and rainbows all over when I went out looking for the cold deterrent.
3. I think I may actually feel a bit better as now I'm wondering why I didn't find a good spot to take a few photos... (power of placebo?!)
Outstanding focus and DOF. Our lanes were a sea of cow parsley and then on Saturday the Coincil hacked it all down. Have no idea why, the lane is hardly busy. Such a shame, such a haven for wildlife and looks so natural and wild
I tried First Defence a few weeks ago - it's a nasal spray. I only used it once, got a light cold for a few days then it was gone. Peter wouldn't use it and he's still suffering! May be just good luck though! Love your dreamy shot.
Lovely delicate little weed and the background is perfect. I've got a sore throat too and am off on my hols on Sat so may look out for your magic stuff tomorrow.
Cow Parsley is the very essence of an English country lane......must go down ours & see if there's any out yet. Love this pretty, delicate shot Judith, beautiful focus.
No colds allowed during exams so get to it girl, plenty of Vicks!!
We went to London for our silver wedding anniversary & Harry had a terrible cold, sneezing & nose running all over the place. We went on one of those open topped tour buses...it was freezing but when he got off his cold had gone ....you know what to do tomorrow, plenty of tour buses in Cambridge!!! LOl !
Pretty shot. I've had a houseful of manflu-ed men. Been very lucky to avoid it myself but I have had this awful lingering cough since before Christmas so feel as if I've paid my dues this year :o) Hope your preventer works xx
Nice picture!
