A bit dazzling on a dull day though it was nice this morning before the rain came in again. I have 'cracked on' and got lots of chores done today - so long as you don't look at my desk & the mounting paperwork all is good.
I arranged to pick up Adam after his exam this afternoon so that he could drop off the rather nice bottle of wine with the people who have been letting him do work experience during the year (actually I don't know one from another but it cost quite a bit). So Monty and I set off on a nice walk fairly near to the school only I forgot his water bottle so we headed off to Nine Wells where there are some natural springs. They were further away than I thought but looked lovely and clear and clean and as I was pondering how drinkable it looked I realised that I'd forgotten the wine and I had to hotfoot it to the nearest wine shop & buy another expensive bottle before dashing off to collect Adz. When I go senile nobody will notice.
Three good things:
1. Junk telly with Adam who's having a well-deserved night off before a very intensive 3 days of revising,
2. I've removed a few finished-with revision books from the kitchen table.
3. Maltesers chocolates
Lovely buttercup shot with perfect DoF. I so know what you mean when you mentioned clearing away some of the revision books from the kitchen table, am looking forward to getting the whole thing back in a months time!!
Such a beautiful sun shiny weed...must have been lovely lying in the buttercups!!! I looked at a mass of dandelions in the bottom field but was put off by the builders on the bottom of the lane house....I thought they might think I had flipped my lid if I lay down in them!!
This is a very crisp buttercup photo with wonderful DOF.
@jantan They were all coming out saying, 'I messed up this and I messed up that' (apart from the ones that could already be taking A'level!) but I think it was OK - no questions on 'moments' though and Adam and I have sweated over those! Still multi choice to come. Seems odd how some subjects have 3 papers and some only get one.
Gorgeous picture - fantastic light and foreground detail. I did some sprawling in grassy daisies yesterday (poor L - limited options to disassociate yourself from embarrassing parental behaviour when you're strapped into a pushchair parked next to them) but my pictures were rubbish. This is wonderful.

Drink the good wine!
