I may post a few lycra-based shots at some point but I couldn't resist Mrs Duck. I wonder what they make of all the rowing - whether they can tell a good boat from one in a complete panic. It's been a glorious Bank Holiday weekend - the wind is picking up now and rain is forecast until Friday but a taste of sunshine is a very good thing.
Another 3 good things:
1. Hammocks - especially those swinging under trees with young new leaves dappling the sunlight and surrounded by cow parsley and twittering.
2. Cat and then dog that settled down in the hammock without wriggling too much.
3. Monty on starling watch making sure that they leave some food for the others.
She is gazing into the blue yonder & like Judith I think she's looking out to sea!! Must be having a break from egg duty!
You have been in your hammock what bliss...we have been huddled round the Aga today out of the rain but didn't mind , quite cosy!
Did you mention rain...ha..i did think i felt a flutter snow during the week on the tops..i am am sure Mrs Duck would have thought the same as me..had she been there....and yes it's unprintable...
Great shot of Jemima with her long neck as she peers into the distance. I just love hammocks and so love to hear about them. Wish someone would post a photo!
