You know when you're in trouble when your cat has learned to turn your alarm clock on. Previously she has sat on the radio on/off button and we have been treated to night time radio, thankfully muffled by her furry bottom. But sadly the first alarm clock setting you get if you manage to press the right button by walking on it with your claws out is 6.30 am so we were awoken rather earlier than necessary for half term. And to make matters worse the cat snoozed through the event.
Three good things:
1. Quite a few jobs ticked off including collecting Rachel from the station (hurrah - though she's off to a karate competition for 3 days tomorrow and then heads back for a couple of weeks).
2. One offspring's exams finished - I cannot believe the first year is over bar the partying.
3. No hosepipe ban.
PS Thanks for the lovely comments yesterday - I was out last night and have a mountain of ironing but will crack on with viewing and commenting later this evening.
Cool perspective and DoF
My parents dog has turned the burglar alarm on, she jumps up and nudges the buttons ha ha. She hasn't managed to set it off yet, but that is just a question of time :D
Well we do some funny things on 365 Judith but buying new pegs to photo is like cleaning up before the cleaner comes....I would do exactly the same he he!!
lovely wet pegs with drips on...god for photos no good for washing!!
That cat is very intelligent!!!
I think it seems to be raining everywhere! Love that single raindrop hanging from one peg! Clever cat - clever Jinks - slept in our bedroom last night....
what a creative shot. Love the dof and rain drops and edit. That is a smart and frustrating cat. I had to wake with the alarm at 4:30 this morning so Jim could go off and kayak with our son before work. argh!
Love the rain bokeh in the background and the wonderfully sharp peg in the foreground. Great shot and very apt for the past couple of days. Where did summer go?
Lol, I know its no laughing matter being woken up early but I have a wonderful vision of furry bottoms, slumbering cat and you two wide awake. Love the shot btw, I also took one of dripping pegs but it wasn't nearly as good as yours.
Fantastic shot! Amazing focus with this very cool composition. Love it.
Darn cats...why can't they learn how to accidentally do the laundry or dust the baseboards. :)
What a lovely way to portray a wet day. Beautiful composition and focus! I suppose you can fill your hosepipes yourself with all that rain... Fav, by the way.

Hilarious cat action you've got.
