Sunday Morning by judithg

Sunday Morning

On Trinity Street. Generally bustling with pedestrians and bikes, I like Trinity Street best in the winter, after dark with the Christmas lights on, but a warm summer's morning comes a very close second. The entrance to Trinity College is on the right hand side, set back a bit from the road. There used to be a very nice post office where 'Brora' is on the left - considerably more useful than a knitwear shop where baby cardigans cost £90. It opens out on to Great St Mary's Church and The Senate House with King's Parade up ahead - next challenge to take a car-free photo of that...
I'm falling way behind with 365 and am out again tonight so I am sorry about the lack of commentating - and grateful that you are still bothering with me - normal service will be resumed as soon as possible.
Lovely feel to the photo. We "did" Oxford a couple of weeks back - Cambridge is now on the list of places to visit. My brother and some friends live fairly nearby so it will happen.

Lovely photo! The light is so pretty when viewed large too! Haven't been for too long.

Such character in this Trinity Street scene. Love all the bikes. I can imagine how charming this would be all decked out in Christmas lights.

The summer sun is causing havoc with my commenting too Judith.... never mind it won't be sunny for ever!!
Love this busy looking shot...so much to see here, such a lovely curve in the road, you just want to go a bit further to see round the corner!!

It's so nice that they've kept the character & the signs aren't so overwhelming.

Sometimes you have to prioritise. Mine are:
1. got to do, 2. want to do, 3. ought to do
You have to be really honest about splitting 1 & 3
I rarely do 3 now and I don't think anyone but me has noticed!

Like the shot by the way!

Lovely Cambridge shot. Love the buildings and the winding street. I am glad that I am not the only one way behind! I have to confess to some sitting in the garden.

That curve in the street is really beckoning me!

we all like "bothering with your pictures" judith.....and of course your narrative's to accompany your shot.......nice sunday morning shot....btw Bolton has a Trinity St....it is home of the railway station ...and the daft town council who knocked down the beautiful frontage and booking hall !!...I was shocked when I saw it last summer when I drove past it !

Lovely shot. What an interesting street.

Lovely to see Trinity Street, this shows it very well. My first job was at Heffers bookshop on the left in your picture. Not often empty and peaceful like this, though I was rarely there on a Sunday, no Sunday or late evening opening in those days!

Speak for yourself. I won't let L wear a cardigan that cost less than £90. In fact, £90 is probably the absolute minimum I would be prepared to spend.
