I'm in a grumpy mood today out of proportion with the reasons to be grumpy (including leaving the card of my camera in the computer again). It's beautiful weather - I think probably the warm sticky nights and resultant disturbed sleep are catching up. Anyway - iPhone to the rescue and I'm looking forward to seeing friends I haven't seen for ages. All their kids went off to a different school to mine so although we used to see each other all the time in various places (cubs, sports, play dates etc) now we arrange time especially.
Three good things (all the more important when you're grumpy!):
1. Friends who still remember to invite me out on their shindigs.
2. Plants planted.
3. A G&T promised later...
I love just the two tones in this shot and the way the bike has been left directly under the bell. As soon as I read your comment about forgetting your card, I whipped mine straight out of the computer as I have been caught too many times as well. Good idea @humphreyhippo - not sure why I didn't think of that before!
Oh dear a large G&T is called for me thinks!!! I often wonder why sometimes we wake up out of sorts & I have theory that it's to do with any dreams we have in the night. If ever I wake up & do remember what I have dreamt about ...which is rare ..I do think it colours your outlook on the morning....ah well that's my theory for what it's worth!!
Tried to read the notice , something about ringing the bell but the tones & textures are so restful & serene in this mad world!!
Could be the 1940's....as for the camera card well...........!

Oh cheer up. It could be 32 degrees and you could be staying in a hotel run by the Adams family frequented by late night door slammers. Anyway enough about me... Enjoy your G&t I like the symmetry of it being in your 3 gt's gosh that was long from a phone.
A Fav from me - I think it is the simple neural tones that work so well together that makes it so pleasing. I have a spare card and a spare battery in my handbag!!!
Yes that is so annoying, I can imagine it not helping the grumps! Still clearly it didn't hinder you in any way, this is completely up to your high standards. Great shot with wonderful earthy tones.

I have a cord which connects directly from the camera to the computer and I leave it in the computer all the time! It came with the camera. I can't read the notice but I like the overall picture so much!
I always leave an old spare card in my camera bag for when I do that. ;)
