About the only good thing about this photo is that I took it today! We were up at 5am to get Adam from Heathrow and did that 'early alarm so stay awake all night' thing. Then I picked up a message saying the flight was running 15 mins late so we had a cup of tea - and then got stuck in the 20 mile car park that calls itself the M25 in the mornings and got there just before he appeared through arrivals. Anyway we enjoyed his enthusiastic recounting of his week's activities on the way home. Unfortunately when we got back Rachel wasn't well and I stayed and mopped her brow for a bit before dragging Monty round the block ahead of a series of governor jobs which at least presented me with a nice bike even if it isn't much of a shot and has been seriously ETSOOId.
Three GT:
1. A large glass of white.
2. Rachel feeling much better.
3. My new solar fairy lights - a good price from Next and seriously pretty.
Oh yes, that waking every ten minutes in the night when you have to get up early is just the pits. Poor Rachel, my niece (the musical theatre one) has got the most terrible tonsillitis at the moment. I think once they get home they just cave in (a bit like I always do straight after Christmas.) Glad Adam is back safe and sound. Angus is going off to Florence with friends in a couple of weeks - to say the details are sketchy is an understatement.
Oh you have to catch them as they come through arrivals......my collectors where late when they collected me from Manchester in March & oh the disappointment not to see anyone there with a big smile on their faces!
A busy day.......lots to talk about too, bet you had a happy evening meal with all safely gathered in!
Lovely bike & textured basket .....so good not doing fillers!
Great bicycle shot. Love the character in that basket. Have three older male cyclists pausing for a couple of days at our accommodation centre. They told me they came from "down South". Further conversation revealed that "down South" was Tasmania!!! They are working their way north by back roads hoping to eventually reach the tip of Cape York. Quite some ride.
Yes all are retired and decided while fit and well they should just do it instead of just talk about it. Three terrific guys. I could yarn to them for hours. They are so interested in our story and dismiss their's as just "Something we're doing."
Hope you have a good sleep and gentler day tomorrow!

This weather is enough to turn anyone to white. Red normally though.
