I was just sighing at the prospect of doing some ironing this morning when I got a text from lovely Linda suggesting a coffee in town. So it took me about a second to decide to abandon the ironing and hop on my bike. There wasn't a lot of time as I had to do the hockey run but time enough for some toast and butter (luckily Linda wasn't having cake because I could easily have been swayed towards a coffe cream choux). She went for the mini pots of blackcurrant jam on her toast whereas I am strictly savoury when comes to toast.
I am savoury with toast but can be tempted with peanut butter! And blackcurrant jam has to be good for you too! But have this on fresh scones, just out of the oven!
What is this thing called ironing...? Coffee and toast sounds like a much better plan. I only do jam if it follows a full veggie breakfast. Otherwise marmite.
