I mentioned that the architectural projections involved multiple buildings (all within walking distance of each other) so have decided to share another shot from this wonderful event.
I am really looking forward the Canberra Festival next year, it is Canberra's 100th birthday so I am sure there will be more architectural projections, more balloons, fireworks and other delights for photographers. There were a number of wonderful designs on the library, I really liked this entomological themed one.
I'm not holding big hopes for good weather for the hot air balloons tomorrow morning, the forecast predicts early showers. Tomorrow afternoon I am booked in to do a practice test to progress on to my probationary riders licence for the scooter, and if all goes well I may be going to a massive fireworks display with a friend. It is an annual event called Skyfire and it is 10-20 mins of fireworks all choreographed to music. The downside is huge crowds attend, there are massive traffic jams to leave again. And of course our rainy weather threatens the event too.
