Inland Black Headed Gull

I've read that in a few generations children will ask why the 'sea' is a prefix to 'gull' as so many are inland. This beautiful specimen couldn't have been much further from the sea in the UK!

Strange how we still call them seagulls and sometimes when they are screeching I can imagine I am by the sea.. A great capture of your gull
