Toronto Peace Garden

The Toronto Peace Garden includes this eternal flame set in a pool of water, symbols of hope and the renewal of life respectively. When I visited it today, I noticed a stone engraving, dated October 2, 1984, with this inscription: "Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11 dedicated this Garden as a lasting expression of Toronto's commitment to world peace." That was nice to see.
