The word for today is "selfie." I have an innate talent for looking ridiculous in photographs...eyes wide open, mouth agape, head cocked at an awkward angle. Daughter laughs hysterically whenever she snaps a photo of me, because I always manage to look demented. So today's word was a challenge I was not sure I was ready to face (pun intended). With the help of some camouflaging light, the morning sun, and a "let's get this over with" attitude, here's my first, and most likely one and only, "selfie."
