Woke to thick fog and strong north winds. Grasses, trees, cattle, and horses are all frosted today. Visited the horses before the snow arrived, but they were more interested in looking for treats than being photographed. Did catch this fellow looking wistfully off into the distance.
@tinygremlins@luckyhusker44 Thank you. This is the first morning I've noticed the animals coats frosted. We were in the lower teens, with a bitter cold windchill. The horses were wisely snuggled in behind a tree belt munching hay.
@paul2782 Thank you. Had stopped carrying my camera, but missed a Great Horned Owl and some nice cowboy opportunities and decided I'd better be more diligent.
