This grand old Ponderosa Pine stands outside what will soon be Kaiden's bedroom window. It's a bit beat up and not much to look at from the ground, but when looking out that second story window it gives me a profound sense of peace. It is hard to get these to grow in the heavy clay soil we have here, but I love the few we have as they remind me of home.
