At least that's what I've always called them, but when I looked it up in the field guide I couldn't really find this critter. I think it's a moth, but not even sure of that as its antennae aren't very moth-like. Still, I liked the pattern on its wings, and with autumn knocking on the door I think I'll take any insect/flower shot I can get.
