I'm trying to focus in on black and white, so I decided to simplify things and raided the boys' old games. Eldest loved chess, though his opponent was the computer. Still, I like chess pieces, and they do present me an opportunity to shoot black and white.
Nice placement of the piece with good lighting. The background swirls are an unexpected addition - I think a lot of people might include a chess board - but this adds a different look and makes you look deeper.
@adayinmallacoota :-) I looked all over and could not find a chess board...just the pieces. Couldn't even find the checker board! Then I saw this red spiral folder and thought..oh well..it will make interesting swirls of gray and black. Something different I guess.
