It must be cat week. Youngest will be so happy! This old lady is also hard to get near, and she also showed up with kittens in tow. She is, however, mellowing and I have been able to touch her, though I can't get near the kittens yet. Persistence! TNR works, but only if I can catch them.
Beautiful kitty cat, and lovely kitten! They appear to have similar markings on their faces, even though the one on the kitten's nose is a little darker. I admire your perseverance.....I am assuming they are feral, and you capture and spay/neuter mom and kitties, and find them good homes! Great capture photographically, and good luck with the actual one!
Nice Shot and DOF. A Tom Cat once chose to live with us many years ago, but I think we were one of a few he chose to visit more like. Tough as old boots he was.
She looks rather resolved to keep at a distance but perhaps your interest and affection will change her opinions about humans and her little ones will follow suit. Cute cat picture even if she's not smiling.
