butterfly

I found a butterfly that feeds with it's wings open! I saw it flitting from dandelion to dandelion when I went to feed youngest son's animals. I really like how black and white bring out its wonderful markings. Some of those dots on its lower wings look like hearts!

Yes, it is beautiful in B&W, and I guess when you strip it of color the patterns just become so much more pronounced and noticeable!

Gorgeous, b&w really brings out the pattern on the wings. I think the ones which feed with their wings open are usually moths.
