Bucket list...After playing with the orb I decided to try some other light painting. I don't quite have the grasp of how to do this, but I think I'm beginning to get a basic understanding. I thought it had to do with speed. Discovered I needed to leave the shutter open and take my time drawing lines. Still need practice, but it's a start.
Brilliant. That looks soooooo cool. If you think you still don't quite have the grasp of it, I can't wait to see what you get after more practice. FAV!

Creative idea. I was trying to work out how you got the cards to stand up, is that blu tak I spy on the bottom of one of the cards?

Nice light play! This is very cool. I had a light painting challenge not too long ago, I ended up doing scenes outside, but I'd love to play around more inside.
Long exposure, for sure. What is holding the cards up?
January 13th, 2015
@ludgate The cards were held up with bits of poster putty. I've never used "bulb" before. It was rather liberating not to be racing a timer.

@lesip thank you. I have a small led keychain light that has a tight beam that I used. I've been trying to figure out how to make a snoot for a small flashlight, but haven't had any success yet.
