It's a plane .... but it's Air Force One. Thanks to all the cautionary statements about transportation delays during the President's visit, we managed his visit with little inconvenience. It was interesting to see all the security and preparations, but we watched only from afar. Decided to include this with my "no regrets" challenge. I hauled my 70-300 mm zoom lens with me to Portland "just in case" but never carried it anywhere and felt rather silly, since it is heavy and takes up space. However, at the airport it was that zoom that got me a nice view of the plane, so "no regrets" for packing it along after all!
Mary @mcsiegle Another for the "no regrets" challenge. Felt rather silly hauling my big zoom lens with me on the trip, until we got to the airport as we were leaving. Made it much easier to get a nice shot of the plane.
