Had to try my hand at twirling, and even as a mostly incompetent photoshop elements user, I must admit it's pretty easy and rather fun. This started out as the praying mantis from last week, and has morphed into something quite abstract. Will probably be revisiting this on those days I'm falling a bit behind.
@luckyhusker44 I was actually able to follow this tutorial http://www.slrlounge.com/twirls-hot-new-photoshop-trend/
which is very straightforward and has only a few simple steps. Of course, had to bring it back to Lightroom for adjustments, as I still don't get how to do that with Photoshop layers and such.
@annied I saw my first twirling when Chantal (Shepherdman's Wife) put one up. She put in a link to the tutorial. She also added the link in a discussion that's here: http://365project.org/discuss/general/26093/twirling
Since then many 365r's have given it a go, as a twirl is simple to create, and fun to manipulate.
