They say to focus on the eyes, but with Piper sometimes that's just not possible. I like her all curly and fuzzy, like a stuffed animal, but I don't know how she sees out. She's scheduled for a haircut in a few days and then she'll look like a different dog. Learned another editing tool in Lightroom...the sharpener. I've always avoided it thinking it would make things grainy, and it will, but I found the mask that gives some control and fine tuning with sharpening. I liked how sharpening brought out the curliness of Piper's hair.
Thanks for the get pushed challenge and apologies for not getting a challenge to you before now. Since you say you'll be traveling to Portland for your youngest's graduation, I'll give you a choice:
1) I've never been to Portland, though we have a standing invitation from an old friend who lives there. Show me something of Portland that will make me feel I've been there or make me run out and buy airfare to actually go there.
2) You rarely post photos of people except your adorable granddaughter. I don't have time to flip back through your project to the beginning, so I'm not sure what your youngest looks like. Show me. (graduation picture OK )
@mcsiegle Mary ... thanks for the push. I will undoubtedly have lots of Portland photos, as I love visiting. Hopefully something will tickle your fancy. As for youngest, this is the only photo if have of her in my project: http://365project.org/aecasey/365/2014-01-15
She has no on-line presence. Both she and her older brother have asked I don't put their pictures online. I'm not sure if I'll get anything from graduation or not. The school was taking photos (for sale later of course). There are a few pictures of my youngest son in my porject, but they are rare as he doesn't much like being shown either. Thankfully he doesn't object to my postings of granddaughter. I try to get her at least once a month, just to watch how she's grown.
