The yard is always filled with little garter snakes, but they have been so fast (or I've gotten so slow) I haven't been able to catch one. I made several grabs of this one before it finally "froze." Not even a tongue flicker! Got lots of snaps of this pose before I finally gave it a little prod and it zipped off.
