Stephanie challenged me to have a go at food photography. Having done very, very little, I did some reading and tried to get a natural light with backlight setup. I did this outside on the deck, and in the process got my bracelet caught between the slats and it would not come out. So, there I lay. Trapped. Couldn't get the bracelet off. Couldn't get it free. Tried texting sleeping eldest and youngest. Tried calling sleeping eldest and youngest. No response. Finally managed to "MacGyver" myself free after taking apart a pen that was in my camera bag, which was thankfully near enough to reach. Honestly! In the meantime the cats had destroyed my "set" and the light had retreated behind clouds. So, I came inside and got out a light box, purchased but never used. Much less excitement with that. After my traumatic beginning, I think I might try a few more. I think this is something that requires practice.
