doghouse

I came across this old doghouse at an abandoned farmstead while looking for my architectural shots. Not sure how warm it may have been, but it was south facing, with a south facing window, and a wonderful view of the entry to the barnyard.

Great shot with wonderful textures and details.
It's amazing how well these shelters protected the animals! Keep them out of the wind and the rain and they will do fine most times.
