The yard was filled with blackbirds of all sorts and types tonight ... there were the red-winged, lots of incredibly noisy yellow-headed ones, and, of course, just plain blackbirds. Thought I'd get those yellow-headed ones, but they disappeared as soon as I got the camera set up. Then the red-wings flew off too. So ... a plain blackbird, but not quite so plain in the evening sunlight. Such beautiful iridescent colors!
