The claims adjuster was out today and we spent around 10 hours going over property hail damage. While I was waiting I thought I'd give my push challenge a try. This week Wendy challenged me to do a controlled ICM "where you could see the original image incorporated into the final result to give it that painterly feel." I had this strange idea that I might be able to do an ICM with my lensbaby. This scene caught my eye, but it was midday with bright sun and hard to get my manual settings quite right for a nice ICM. I also tried to ICM by moving the lens, not the camera. Overall an experiment that didn't quite work. Still, I like the clouds, the blue, and the grasses.
Wendy @farmreporter Well, I had this idea, but it didn't quite work out. Still, I thought I'd tag and post.

Hail damage? Wow. Tricky capture of this post - not an easy concept.

So neat how your ICM has the movement at the edge of your shot,
Well done for doing this during the day in bright light.
I found it worked better in the evening with lower light when you could use a longer shutter speed.

A wonderful image, soft gentle movement composition. Fav! hope the adjuster is fair.

Nice work with the LB. Perhaps the pole is too centered, but I like the idea.
