We are so dry. The prairie is brown with very few wildflowers. This was a lone patch of bright yellow fall wildflowers and it was full of little insects. Hover flies, a bee, loads of little beetles, a few moths, and one or two little skipper butterflies. This little one was very aggressive about protecting its patch of flowers, chasing off larger insects that tried to visit.
