The blue grosbeak spends his days in the lilacs in the back yard. He is fascinated with the south window. He frequently perches on the windowsill knocking on the window trying to get in. From his point of view, it is a dark corner filled with foliage. That just a reflection, but to him it looks incredibly inviting and he just can't understand why he can't get in. His confusion and persistence provide me with loads of time to see this beautiful fellow.

@ludwigsdiana Thank you ... I rely on Av. My zoom lens doesn't open any wider than f5.6 so I'm usually in that area of f-stop. I do use one focal point, and I try to train that on the eye if at all possible. I've set my single point pretty much dead center. Other than that, it's multiple shots and searching for my sharpest image.
