It's the least I could do. My son had a seizure on his 21st birthday, as a result of too much celebrating. Since then after adjustment of medication and careful living he has been seizure-free. It is a scary condition but thankfully well-controlled. My heart breaks for those who are not so fortunate.
This is a wonderful collage Allison. All the kids look so cute! One of my little dogs (Lincoln) has seizures. It's such a scary thing to witness. In fact, he had 2 last week. He usually goes several months without having one. We may have to start medication on him soon.
Anyway, this was a great tribute to the cause!
Thanks, Allison. Just read your recent comment on my CPR photo. Kelly's experience is what gave me the push to finally take the class after years of just talking about it.
How wonderful of you to do that to raise awareness amongst the children...AND...don't you know they got a kick out of participating! I'm totally smitten with the little girl with the flower in her hair! You made a terrific collage! We, too, have an adult friend who's prone to seizures, so we care about the cause. (May I suggest also adding the tag "purple_shirt_day" with the underscores...there are a few more gathered on that site than here.)
Allison what a great collage. Everyone looks so good and they went to a lot of effort. Thanks so much for supporting a great cause. Epilepsy is more prevalent that we think. It has been kept under wraps for fear of being discriminated against. thanks again :)
