My husband and I are total fans of the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. We have bought and read all 15 of his exciting adventures and pride ourselves on helping launch Child's newest , "Worth Dying For" at No. 1 on the NY Times Best Seller list. I have spent Sunday afternoon reading about Reacher protecting the weak and devising ways to punish the guilty. The best kind of escapist adventure.
15 of them. must be interesting if you buy and read that many by the same author. will write his name down and see if I can get them in our library..great picture of all the books.
You're ahead of my husband - he has this latest one on order. He really enjoys Lee Child's books too. He's finishing the trilogy by Stieg Larsson - he's halfway through The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest.
Sounds like a fun series. I've been addicted to James Rollins lately, and he's quite prolific author, too. Don't you find yourself reading one of the books while hoping that there's another one being written at that very moment...just so it all won't end? Ha! http://www.jamesrollins.com/
@Allison Yes there is the green Irish Sharock but prefer the colorful purple one. also the white flowers are more noticeable on the purple than on the green shamrock
@Swazzette James Rollins has a great website. I'll have to look for his work. I agree about eagerly waiting for the next adventure. Fortunately with a commercial writer, you are usually in luck!
Nice collection. That's great that you and John both read the books...more for your money. I rarely buy hard cover books anymore as I have no lace to display them...2 houses ago, in the era of marriage, I had a big house with all sorts of built in bookshelves...had to get rid of most of my books after I downsized. Thank goodness the new public library is just down the road from me.
