The Impossible Project

I met this gentleman yesterday at the botanical garden. I was immediately drawn to his vintage Polaroid camera. We had a nice chat about his pictures and the film he buys from The Impossible Project http://www.the-impossible-project.com/ I got to see his pictures while they were still developing. They had a mellow antique finish, similar to the look of the picture I am posting!
What a great portrait! I checked out that site, and I love that there's a company out there still producing interesting new films for the old Polaroids. They really have such a character all their own. I especially love the look of the sliver shade film with the black frame.

What a great story. My daughter-in-law resurrected her mom's Polaroid. It seems they're making a come-back (sort of). I'm going to pass the info on to her. Thanks for posting it- nice shot too- great editing.

Vintage Polaroid Camera? Ouch. I used to sell those when I was a camera Salesperson. Ok, I was 18 then. Never mind. Feeling very moldy now.

Good shot and interesting info...Hmmm... I wonder if dad still has the Polaroid he bought mom back in the 1960s (I think) might be fun to play around with it if he does.
