On my morning walk I cross a broad street named Malvern Avenue. This morning a bright sign on a telephone pole caught my eye. I walked up to get a closer look, expecting an announcement of a lost pet or an upcoming yard sale. Instead I was startled to read "You light up my life." Turning away, I caught sight of another bright yellow sign, then further north another. Within a few blocks I saw all these and ahead of me, still more. I had run out of time so I put my camera away and continued on my walk home. Then after work, I drove along Malvern and counted about a dozen more signs, including several apologies and entreaties for a second chance.
I am left wondering what terrible offense the writer committed and whether the campaign was successful. My husband says if it reaches this point in a relationship, it's a lost cause, but i prefer to be an optimist.

@allie912 Well, they haven't said much other than the signs being neon and catching everyone's attention, ha ha! Apparently no one has stepped forward yet to claim the signs.
Yeah, I like to be optomistic too, but if one has to go this far, it is almost as though they are trying to shame them into coming back, by making themselves look so hurt and battered.
Well, I read them and don't necessarily see someone begging for a second chance because they did something wrong. It almost sounds to me like someone left the relationship because they didn't think it would work- some sort of dark cloud hanging over their head- and the second person still believes their love could survive, so person #1 shouldn't give up but believe in the power of love. Ok, I like a good love story, chick flick, whatever you want to call it. I can see it on Hallmark Channel Now- The Saga of the Signs... Great idea for the collage and I like the frame color- a good choice to compliment the signs.
@olivetreeann The signs I saw in the morning and photographed were all upbeat and actually rather inspirational. It wasn't til I went back in the afternoon that I read the sad apologies. I hope they get a Hallmark ending!
It's worth a try if it's this bad ! guess!
