My brother's home is in the country and he shares his property with many wild critters. Several times I saw deer in the back yard, grazing and nosing the fallen fruit from the apple and pear trees. Every time I attempted to sneak up on them for a picture, those big ears would quiver and rotate and they would be off with a flash of their white tails. Finally this evening, when nine of us gathered for dinner on the back porch and there was lots of laughter and loud conversation, a trio of deer appeared and placidly grazed and held their ground while I got several good pictures. Note the cherub keeping an eye on the situation from a distance.
When we first moved here to the Poconos, deer were a novelty and I loved seeing them. Now...not so new and don't always love seeing them- haha. Glad you got your shot!
Hello, Allison! Just popping in for a quick visit --- I've been so busy this summer and our LONG winter definitely affected my photographic motivation! New month, new start ...
