This was part of a performance by the entire 4th grade at Friday's convocation. To the stirring strains of trumpets, squads of students dressed in the colors of the Olympic rings ran through the crowd to the front of the field. Here you see the 3 torch bearers in the red, white, and blue of the United States. The final drama was presented by a team of students, carrying the Collegiate emblem on gold banners, who streaked beyond the field and into the stadium seats. I think the students had practiced all week but it was a surprise for the rest of us. What a great spectacle.
