This mural was created last year, although I saw it for the first time on yesterday's tour. I was able to do some internet research about the artist, Aryz. He is a 23 year-old based in Barcelona, Spain. He also has work on display in New York City, Italy, Germany, Poland and South Africa. I wonder how these urban artists come up with their subjects. Do they spin a couple of wheels, and whatever terms the pointer stops on, that becomes the subject?
It does make you wonder what he was thinking. Perhaps something to do with hunting? The arrows in the burger make me think it's some kind of statement against hunting elephants? But he could be on drugs too (truly joking)- it's colorful and crazy and fun and who knows!
