This booklet was found tucked among our Christmas books which obviously hadn't circulated much since the child had hidden it there last Spring. Every page of this treasure is a delight, full of the exuberance of a child and the sassiness of a-soon-to-be Middle Schooler. It will definitely have a place in our collection! Note: I did remove the names for the sake of privacy.
This is delightful, Allison. Do you think the young person made this booklet on his/her own or was it a class project or ?? I love that s/he wanted the finder to give it to the librarian. Clearly, you would know what to do with it!
@cathieg I shared the find with her mother who told me she loved to create books. Her mother had seen her working on this but never read it and didn't know what had happened to it. She loved reading about where the book ended up.
So it was found and returned to you. how nice. I bet the little girls was happy to have it back. maybe someday when she is gown up, she'll be a writer.
