The public schools were all closed today, but because independent (or private) schools don't rely on busses, we came to school with a 2 hour delay. The idea was to let the sun melt the ice a bit. For the most part that plan worked, and I thinkI speak for most of us when I say we were glad to get back to kids and class. Seeing this beautiful vista was just an added perk.
Y'all crack me up (lovingly, of course). My markets in Southern Louisiana, Atlanta, Alabama, and parts of TN closed either altogether or early because of cold, or an inch of snow. At the least, less people needed me the past couple days! Actually got some work done!
