I returned to Collegiate for the first time since my retirement in order to see Kevin O’Malley, author/illustrator of over 35 children’s books, who presented his irreverent view of the world in two sessions to students in Grades 1-4. The students were enthusiastic as you can see here, and O’Malley was impressed with the number of students who stopped to thank him as they filed out. Tomorrow he heads to another school in the area to present in 4 different sessions. He will definitely get a work out!
