Through a Tangle of Lines

My original thought was, "What a shame that there are so many power lines in this picture," but then I thought what an interesting pattern when crossed with the tree branches. Walking in a suburban landscape, I can't enjoy the beauty of a sunset in wide-open fields, but this scene has its own peculiar loveliness.

I have some houses that seem to block my view as well. I recall loving the sunsets when I was growing up as we had a field to the west of our house. Still, you have managed to capture the sunset in the city among the wires and the houses quite well. I love the bright sun. Hopefully, she'll come out tomorrow!

It really does! One thing shooting in the city has taught me is to incorporate the things that I'd normally try to avoid in a shot, and I think you've done a great job of that too.

It's a lovely sunset in spite of the wires and you included them well. In this case you didn't have to, but thanks to digital photography and post-processing there is always the option of taking them out.
